What is Mixing?

Mixing is the process of balancing and enhancing individual elements in a song, such as vocals, drums, and instruments, to create a cohesive and polished sound. This includes adjusting levels, EQ, compression, panning, and effects to ensure the track sounds professional and ready for mastering.

What is Mastering?

Mastering is the final step in the production process. It involves fine-tuning the mixed track, optimizing it for distribution, and ensuring it sounds great on all playback systems. Mastering increases the overall loudness, clarity, and tonal balance of the song.

How do I submit my tracks for mixing or mastering?

You will receive an email confirmation after purchasing a service which will direct you how to send your stems/song. You can also simply fill out the form on our Contact page, and we’ll guide you through the submission process. We accept files in formats such as WAV or AIFF, with all stems properly labeled and consolidated.

How long will it take to complete my mix or master?

Turnaround times vary depending on the complexity of the project and our current workload. Typically, mixing takes about 3-5 business days, while mastering is completed within 2-3 business days. If you’re in a rush, please let us know, and we’ll try our best to accommodate your deadline.

What are your rates for mixing and mastering?

We offer affordable, competitive rates for both services. Please check our Services page for detailed pricing information. We also offer package deals for projects that require both mixing and mastering services.

Can I make revisions to my mix or master?

Yes! Each mix or master comes with up to two free revisions to ensure you’re completely satisfied with the final result. Additional revisions may be subject to a small fee.

What file formats do you deliver?

For mixing and mastering services, we deliver high-quality WAV files ready for streaming and distribution. If you need additional formats (e.g., MP3), just let us know.

Can I send you a reference track for my project?

Yes! Reference tracks are a great way to communicate the sound and style you’re aiming for. Simply send us the reference when you submit your project.
